Next, visit the Trou aux Cerfs, a dormant crater, and Grand Bassin, a sacred spot with a 108-foot Shiva statue and a holy lake. Today you will dedicate your day to exploring the local markets and shops of the island. Head out to the Central Market in Port Louis and shop for souvenirs, discover local handicrafts, and sample traditional street food. Spend the day strolling around the market and dive deep into the vibrant Mauritian culture. Afterwards, you will head back to the hotel on your own for an overnight stay.
